In 2017, the CNUE intensified its relations with the Council of Europe and, in particular, with the European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ). The CEPEJ publishes an annual report on the evaluation of judicial systems. The CNUE contributed to the drafting of a complementary report to the 2016 edition of the CEPEJ report on the efficiency of the notarial profession, explaining its functioning in the various European countries and illustrating this using examples of national good practice. The next edition of the CEPEJ report is expected in 2018.
